Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer :
- Specialize in technical solutions, systems, networks, or storage
- Design, configure, test, and implement server systems, operating systems, and applications across multiple platforms
- Install, document, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Allocate and maintain storage for operating systems, ensuring hardware and site configurations are optimized
- Handle escalations related to operational issues in production environments
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical challenges and improve solutions
- Conduct ongoing solution reviews and lifecycle management
- Maintain detailed documentation of production environment changes via change management systems
- Interpret architecture requirements and assist with design, product evaluation, and technology integration
- Contribute to developing and implementing enterprise engineering standards
