Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Service Desk Professional I :
- Provide first-level IT support over the phone, including but not limited to desktop applications, network troubleshooting, and clinical application support
- Utilize IT tools and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve computer-related issues
- Ensure maximum customer service and issue ownership, escalating incidents when necessary
- Log and document troubleshooting steps and solutions in line with current knowledgebase practices
- Participate in on-call support as scheduled during non-business hours
- This is a contract position through 12/31/2025, with potential for extension or conversion
Required Skills for IT Service Desk Professional I :
- Minimum of a High School diploma / GED & one year certification from college or technical school, or at least 1 year of customer service related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of computer, printer, and network troubleshooting and installation procedures
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot Microsoft products and healthcare/clinical applications
- Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed and scheduled
- Ability to travel up to 5%
