About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic Associate Product Manager with a strong foundation in identity verification and a proven ability to work across diverse roles and teams. If you’re analytical, curious, and ready to uncover and solve real customer challenges, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and define product requirements that address underlying business challenges.
- Work closely with our offshore development team to translate needs into actionable development plans and solutions.
- Partner with in-house teams (sales, support, accounting, and marketing) to align product strategy and execution with company goals.
- Use data analysis to inform product decisions, track performance, and validate outcomes.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities.
- Actively listen to customers and prospects to uncover pain points and opportunities, ensuring the solutions developed truly meet their needs.
- Advocate for and prioritize initiatives that align with IDScan.net's mission of reducing risk, improving compliance, and delivering customer value.
- Up to 10% travel required for customer visits, conferences, and internal team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (background in support, sales engineering, or other customer-facing roles strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the identity verification industry.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools, with the ability to derive insights and present findings clearly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; personable and able to build relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize and ask probing questions to uncover root issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with offshore development teams and global stakeholders.
- Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset that prioritizes uncovering the customer’s root issue.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product management or a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in identity verification is a bonus.
