Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity

About the Role
We seek Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease physicians to provide exceptional care for patients with infectious diseases. Successful candidates will actively contribute to educational activities, participate in quality improvement initiatives within the field of infectious disease, and engage in ID related industry trials and clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and management of patients with infectious diseases including medical, surgical/trauma, orthopedic, and OBGYN patients.
- Collaborate on care for patients in the new Leukemia and BMT service, an extension of the renowned Hackensack Meridian Health Leukemia and BMT program.
- Manage the HIV clinic at the Family Health Center.
- Contribute to resident and fellow recruitment, teaching, and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
- Accredited medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship.
- Board eligibility or certification in Infectious Diseases.
- Have or have the ability to obtain a State of New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
- Active interest in resident education and research.
