The Transplant Center at Northwell Health’s North Shore University Hospital is seeking a Transplant Infectious Diseases Specialist for a Clinical / Academic position joining a team of physicians focused on the care of immunocompromised patients serving Long Island, NY.
This exciting position includes the opportunity to lead a Transplant Infectious Diseases Stewardship program in conjunction with Transplant Infectious Diseases pharmacists. Participation and productivity in research are desired as well given the opportunity to develop a Clinical Research and mentorship program focused on solid organ transplantation research at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.
As part of a large multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to solid organ transplant candidates and heart, lung, liver, and kidney transplant recipients, as well as patients with ventricular assist devices and hematological malignancies requiring stem cell transplantation. Our team is committed to the training and education of future providers and leaders in the field of infectious diseases. Our faculty is known for our teaching excellence amongst medical students, residents and fellows, and our staff holds leadership positions in local, regional, and national organizations.

Training / Licensure requirements :
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- Board Certified in Infectious Diseases
- New York State Medical License
- Transplant Infectious Diseases training and clinical experience in a transplant program.
