Job Summary:
As a Projector Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting projectors and other AV equipment for our clients’ events. This role requires technical proficiency, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to transport and handle equipment with care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and test projectors, screens, and associated AV equipment for events and installations.
- Operate and troubleshoot projectors and AV systems on-site to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to clients before, during, and after events.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and ready for future use.
- Safely load and transport AV equipment to and from event locations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Assist with inventory management and equipment tracking.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be computer and tech-savvy, with a solid understanding of AV technology.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Must have reliable transportation and sufficient space to transport equipment to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with projectors, AV equipment, or technical support is a plus.
- Familiarity with different types of projectors (LCD, DLP, etc.) and associated software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive to various locations and transport equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
