Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy in warehousing, handling and picking to support all production work centers. The Warehouse Supervisor works under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assists in planning and executing daily operations, and resolves issues in collaboration with Leads and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support warehouse staff, including order fulfillment pickers and material handlers.
- Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members in coordination with HR.
- Responsible for timekeeping system and timecard management.
- Plan and assign daily work schedules based on production requirements and staffing.
- Monitor work-in-progress and inspect completed work to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and oversee time-off requests.
- Support and enforce company policies, work rules, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily production schedules.
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written direction to team members.
- Address operational delays and take corrective actions to meet shipping and production schedules.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas, including racking, aisles, and staging zones.
- Resolve conflicts among team members and promote a positive work environment.
- Generate purchase order requisitions for department supplies and tools.
- Support the implementation of department policies, systems, and procedures.
- Coordinate material flow and service parts orders from receipt through delivery.
- Assist in analyzing inventory policies and implementing corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Participate in resolving component shortages and maintaining ERP system accuracy.
- Assist in reducing excess and obsolete inventory through proactive management.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counting and transaction processing.
- Ensure adherence to company ISO and quality standards.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, move up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional kneeling, crouching, or climbing.
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
Work Environment:
- Office and warehouse/shop settings.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and mechanical equipment.
- Required PPE: Safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, and hearing protection as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Strong communication skills (oral/written) to interact effectively with employees and leadership.
- Ability to direct and lead teams efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse equipment, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Understanding of inventory management, materials flow, and warehouse logistics.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain management tools is desirable.
This position is critical in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and supporting production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $79,703.00 per year
