Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team at IEA Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety training programs, conducting workplace audits, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for new hires and existing employees
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Maintain accurate and complete safety records and reports
- Collaborate with management and colleagues to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- STSC certification within one year of position entry date
