We're looking for a Substation Drafter / Designer to join our T&D Design team at our Martin City (South Kansas City) location. This individual will assist with the design primarily for electric substation design development.
Responsibilities :
- Provide drafting support to engineers and designers on substation design related projects, primarily focused on the development of substation physical and electrical drawing creation.
- Develop AutoCAD and Microstation drawings that include general arrangement, elevation, details, BOM, one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
- Incorporate red line changes in existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers.
- Set up and compile drawing packages that will ultimately be issued to clients.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and interface with clients.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
