Job Description
The overall purpose of this position is to reconcile and monitor all receivables and aged balances on customer accounts to ensure daily cash flow. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for processing and depositing payments within department metrics, reviewing customer accounts and providing excellent customer/member service. He/she must be detail oriented, possess the ability to train across various platforms, and work on special projects as needed. The role reports to the Accounts Receivable and Credit & Collection Manager and does not have any direct reports. This position will be required to work under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitors and process payments
- Downloads electronic payments and sort incoming mail
- Submits bank deposits
- Researches unidentified payments
- Corrects discrepancies and misapplied payments by processing adjustments, refunds, credit/debit memos
- Monitors money on account
- Prepares monthly metrics, reports and overpayment letters
- Answers all correspondence and inquiries from external and internal customers
- Provides support to Supervisor as required
- Participates in special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience Req
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Pref
- 2-4 years Credit and collections, Accounts Receivable. Pref
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of on-line systems, preferably Orcale, Siebel, Salesforce, Datatrax
- Knowledge of Excel and Word required
