Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Community Manager is to enhance engagement and significantly increase brand visibility. The individual in this role will connect with IEEE's audience across various platforms and create innovative strategies that align with Spectrum's goals for long-term growth. The incumbent will be an experienced engineer with a strong interest in IEEE's industry sectors and a proven track record of successfully expanding the digital presence of established brands. This position also requires strategic thinking and the ability to effectively utilize digital tools and platforms to build, engage, and nurture online communications. Lastly, the role demands proficiency in developing and executing engagement strategies that yield measurable impact. This role will be an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital community and presence strategy (50%)
Assist in the development and execution of strategies that expand audience growth on external platforms and augment referral traffic to our website.
Expand Spectrum’s already robust web presence across platforms (social, newsletters, syndication) with the goal of augmenting brand visibility.
Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
