Department: Production
Supervisor: Production Manager
Hours per Week: 40
1st shift – 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm), 30-minute unpaid lunch
2nd shift – 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday, (2:00 pm -12:00 am), 30-minute paid lunch
Position Title: Plastic Injection Molding Production Associate
Pay Rate: Based on Experience
Position Description and Duties:
- Operate automatic plastic injection machine as outlined in work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Inspect parts to validate that they meet Quality Assurance specifications provided
- Answer press alarms
- Repack product per customer specifications
- Use IQMS software to perform system transactions related to production activities
- Accurately complete required production logs and documentation
- Read, interpret and analyze work orders
- Pick product and prepare outbound shipments accurately and quickly using provided pick ticket
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use of PPE to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Other duties as assigned

- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Plastics Manufacturing experience preferred
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Basic verbal and written communication skills (English language), ability to read and understand work instructions and standard operating procedures, ability to count accurately and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Solid work history, excellent attendance record required
- Must be able to take direction and work as part of a team
- Display sound judgement when troubleshooting machinery and production equipment
- Prior experience with bar code scanning and associated hardware (handheld scanner) is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with IQMS or other ERP software preferred
- Experience in an ISO certified environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis, stand for a minimum of 8 hours, and have full motor movement
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
