Brooks Rand Instruments is hiring a full-time manufacturing and assembly technician to assist in the assembly, testing, and preparation of our high-precision instruments. We are seeking a bright, hard-working, enthusiastic individual with strong communication and attention to detail. Experience working on assembly lines is a plus!
Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following
The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $25.00 hourly (DOE). This is a full-time position that is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 9:00am – 5:30pm.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or min six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with assembly work, preferably in analytical instruments or similar technical fields
- Experience using soldering iron to connect electronic components
- Experience using hand crimper to joints between the connector and the wire
- Familiarity with using part/assembly drawing to assemble sub-assembly/instruments
- Familiarity with using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment
- Basic understanding of electronics, instrumentation, or mechanical systems is a plus
