DonLevy Laboratories, part of the IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Courier position at its facility in Crown Point, IN.
DonLevy Laboratories is an independent, commercial food testing laboratory dedicated to food safety and committed to providing solutions for quality challenges throughout the supply chain. We perform microbiological and chemistry analyses on environmental, raw material, and finished product samples submitted by food companies industry-wide.
Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following
This is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week), with a start time between 6:00am and 9:00am. The candidate must be available four days a week, including weekends and holidays, and must be willing to drive throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as Indianapolis, IN, and Fort Atkinson, WI.
Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate-to-severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following
- A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
- Detail-oriented approach, strong communication in handling all tasks, and sound judgment in day-to-day interactions
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
