Microbiology Laboratory Analyst (Fresno, CA)

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Analyst position at its facility in Fresno, CA.

Applicants must possess a BS or BA in the biological sciences or in a related field and should demonstrate the following attributes:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated
- Very good understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

The Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and media preparation.

This is a full-time position, in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule for this position is Tue-Sat, 5pm-1:30am.

IEH requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
