Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete installation and finishing, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring that concrete surfaces are properly finished and meet project specifications. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.

Duties

• Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and leveling.
• Operate concrete pumping equipment and utilize hand tools for finishing tasks.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Use power tools to finish surfaces, including smoothing and texturing as required.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks associated with transporting materials and equipment on-site.
• Install hardscape elements such as sidewalks, driveways, and patios with precision.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in concrete installation techniques and finishing methods.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in concrete work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction site operations and safety practices.
• Experience with metal stud framing is advantageous.
• A valid commercial driving license may be required for transporting materials between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
