Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. This role requires excellent leadership skills to coordinate teams effectively and maintain project timelines while adhering to budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction activities.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Utilize HeavyBid and Bluebeam software for project management, budgeting, and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction techniques and safety measures.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and ensure projects stay within budget.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical work as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction environments.
- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with HeavyBid, Bluebeam, budgeting processes, and pipeline construction is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
