What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician - Substation position at IES Commercial Inc. - C&I Division?
IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician for substation work in the Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota areas. $3500 hire bonus applies and per diem as eligible.
Job Summary
- Works under general direction of job foreman and other project supervisors.
- Perform power and control wiring of substation equipment and the control house in accordance with project drawings and details as well as electrical codes.
- Install substation equipment, conduit and grounding.
- Perform or assist with other substation tasks such as welding, pipe bending, concrete forming and finishing, erection of steel structures and material handling.
- Works from all types of ladders and personnel lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as directed.
- Travel required.
