Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Process weekly payrolls accurately within the payroll system
- Ensure all required changes related to new hires, employee changes, terminations, and payroll deductions are accurate before payroll is completed.
- Provide service to all employees regarding concerns with payroll or deductions.
- Complete any payroll-related mailings, e.g. child support
- Work collaboratively with HR to resolve inquiries/issues related to the Payroll system.
- Maintain processes and audit trails for all payroll transactions, garnishments, etc.
- Process and maintain 401(k) and Cash Balance Plan transactions and records.
- Maintain paid time off liability and make appropriate entries into the time management or payroll system.
- Answer audit questions related to payroll and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit program.
- Payroll filing as needed.
- Perform other duties as required
- Process Multi-State payroll
- Process Payroll for up to 3500 employees
- Review Timesheets weekly
- Review analysis of reporting from the Payroll System to manage the oversight of closing the pay period
- Resolve escalated discrepancies identified in payroll processes; uncover the root cause(s) and take action to mitigate future discrepancies; and communicate findings and actions to Payroll Leadership
- Develop knowledge and expertise to serve as a department SME, including learning new tasks to gain deeper knowledge and insight
- Prepare transition from Spectrum to Microsoft dynamics
- Knowledge of Company and payroll, payroll tax, and wage attachment processes considered when performing analyses, responding to inquiries and when participating in projects
