IES Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of integrations between UKG systems, Microsoft platforms, and other enterprise applications. This role requires expertise in middleware tools, APIs, and custom data transformation to ensure seamless and efficient system functionality. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the scalability and long-term sustainability of the organization’s integration architecture.

Position Overview:

This role requires expertise in middleware tools, APIs, and custom data transformation to ensure seamless and efficient system functionality. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the scalability and long-term sustainability of the organization’s integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Middleware Expertise: Design and implement integrations using tools like Dell Boomi, ensuring robust connectivity between UKG, Azure, Dynamics Financials, and other internal/external systems.
- API Development: Develop, configure, and optimize APIs and web services for real-time integrations & Webhooks, event-driven data exchange. Build Advance API’s (Rest, SOAP & OData) and deploy it.
- Custom Development: Create and maintain custom scripts using SQL, Java Scripting or Groovy Scripting for data processing and other relevant technologies to meet business-specific needs.
- System Enhancements: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative solutions, focusing on long-term system performance and stability.
- Data Transformation: Perform data mapping and transformation to bridge gaps between varying system architectures. Gather requirements and integration solution design including integration end to end testing. Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
- Cloud Computing: Experience in managing cloud computing concepts and services. Knowledge of networking principles, firewalls, and maintain best practices for secure data transfer.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, and vendor teams to align integration solutions with organizational goals.
- Compliance & Support: Ensure integrations comply with SOX controls and ITIL service management standards, while providing hands-on support for system issues
Specific Qualifications
- Experience: 12-15 years in integration architecture and middleware development, with hands-on expertise in Dell Boomi and Microsoft Azure.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of APIs, SQL, Java, and other scripting languages; experience with UKG-specific integrations preferred.
- UKG Expertise: Prior experience with UKG Pro, UKG WFM, or similar HCM systems is highly advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex integration challenges.
- Innovative Mindset: A proven track record of driving system improvements and embracing modern technologies.
- Certification in Dell Boomi or relevant middleware tools.
- Familiarity with UKG’s marketplace architecture and pre-built connectors.
