General Job Description
Job Summary:The Electrical Specialist will gather and analyze financial data to estimate and allocate costs for a current or proposed products (options). Also, will put together all plans, specs, options, extra materials, etc into job site folder.
Supervisory Responsibilities:• None
Duties/Responsibilities:• Meets and collaborates with other staff to understand the products.• Reviews and analyzes plans, and options for each job.• Type up option sheet and add extras to the plans.• Add any extra materials to the takeoff.• Save all documentation in CE (or other software) and on our server.• Print all documents for the field crews: plans, specs, options, red lines, cabinets, materials, etc.• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:• Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.• Knowledgeable with local NEC code requirements.
Physical Requirements:• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
