What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator - Software Implementations position at IES Holdings, Inc.?
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will work with the Process team in identifying and scheduling deliverables associated with process implementation. Will also work closely with Microsoft partners, IT personnel and key end users in tracking their parallel assignments within the project.
Responsibilities
- Create long-term and short-term implementation schedules, including setting milestones to adhere to deadlines
- Work with the Process Development and IT teams, partners and key end users in tracking simultaneous tasks
- Provide frequent project updates to teams and key end users, emphasizing areas that need immediate attention to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Communicate project progress and issues to Process Director weekly, providing input on resolutions for scheduling and implementation issues
- Identify data transfer and / or data creation needs
- Create process implementation schedule working with the technical writer, trainers and IT teams in identifying deliverables and milestones needed for a successful implementation.
- Assist in identifying possible implementation roadblocks
- Manage implementation schedules, working with trainers and IT teams as well as key end users and their staff, to ensure that there is no loss of business production
- Adjust schedules and milestones as needs for the project change
- Perform quality control checks throughout all phases of the project
