Job Summary:
We are looking for an Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, (drywall/ framing) with a basic understanding of prints. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of panels, measuring and cutting insulation, and ensuring all components are correctly installed and securely fastened. You’ll work as part of a 3-4-person team, using tools such as clamps, impact drivers, and drills, while also handling materials like Rockwool, perforated sheet metal, and plastic sheeting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install panels as part of the assembly process, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
- Measure, cut, and install Rockwool insulation into panels.
- Install batt insulation (pink insulation) where required
- Use clamps to hold materials in place and impact drivers or drills to fasten hardware as needed.
- Drape plastic as required to protect insulation from the elements.
- Work with perforated sheet metal, ensuring accurate installation and finishing.
- Collaborate with a 3-4-person team to complete assembly tasks on time and to required quality standards.
- Interpret basic prints and assembly instructions to complete the work accurately.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Basic experience or understanding of prints and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with using clamps, impact drivers, and drills.
- Experience with insulation materials like Rockwool or Batt insulation is a plus.
- Ability to measure, cut, and install insulation and other materials with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with sheet metal and the use of hardware in assembly.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all components are installed properly.
Education & Experience:
- No welding experience required.
- Experience in construction, framing, or drywall work is ideal.
- Previous experience in assembly, installation, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Basic print reading experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach overhead for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working with tools and machinery in a manufacturing setting.
