CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Operator

Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Mount Joy, PA (On-Site)
Earn 15% more by working second shift. Our second shift hours are Monday – Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (4) 10-hour days
Come join our job shop machine shop where we machine one off large parts. If you are tired of production and looking for a challenge, we've got it. You will operate one of 2 of our HNK Vertical Turning Lathe Centers and our other heavy machining equipment.
Must understand Fanuc Programming G and M code, machine equipped with a live tooling fanuc control machine.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a safe, cautious manner, exercising care and concern for people, equipment, and product
§ Knowledge of materials lifting equipment operation.
§ Work independently and with others, demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail
§ Ability to perform daily preventative maintenance measures to ensure safety of equipment and work environment.
§ Knowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts a plus
§ Ability to interpret blueprints
§ Strong math skills
§ 5 plus years’ experience running large CNC VTL
