Greiner Industries is looking for an Industrial Field Services Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the field service team consisting of mechanical and electrical technicians, and the field service scheduler. Responsible for the profitable growth of the service organization within Greiner Industries. This includes customer interfacing, estimating/ proposals, coordinating with the field service project management team, supervision of critical tasks at the project level, people development, and overall profitability of the Field Service organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on compliance with customer and Greiner safety programs
- Responsible for staff development including hiring, promoting, and separations.
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements
- Actively review backlog of work from a cost, schedule, manhour and invoicing perspective
- Working with the responsible project manager to review technical specifications, and project schedules during the estimating and execution phases of a project.
- Oversee and ensure process compliance with project turnover packages that details the scope of work, material, project hours, schedule, subcontractors, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with the customer and project managers to schedule the project, ensuring the customer schedule and expectations are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in the mechanical field service management involving installation (piping, millwright, etc.), service, or contracting business.
- 1-2 years of experience as an electrical project manager with knowledge of the NEC; conduit.
- Proficient in blueprint reading with the ability to teach others.
- Familiar with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards.
- Proven team building skill set
- Able to prioritize tasks and to delegate as necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient in CAD software
- Travel required.
