Purpose of Position:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Auditor to join our team. The Quality Auditor will support the Quality Manager and collaborate with other quality personnel to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits in accordance with internal quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Administer layered process audits to ensure process adherence and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and internal quality logs, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Track daily issue logs and initiate corrective actions as necessary to address non-conformities.
- Enter quality-related data into relevant databases with precision and attention to detail.
- Coordinate the Change Notice process to manage and document modifications in processes or products.
- Monitor and audit the usage of labels for all UL-related items to ensure compliance.
- Compile job packets, perform scanning, and file documents following established procedures.
- Assist with general office tasks as needed to support departmental operations.
Specific Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Corrective Actions and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and basic quality processes.
- Proven experience as an auditor, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding position.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety and process control requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and related documentation.
- Pass background check and drug test
- Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)
