About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Switchgear Professional to join our team at IES Infrastructure. As part of the Plant Power & Control Systems segment, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, manufacturing, and installation of medium and low voltage switchgear systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical switchgear systems. You will work closely with our operations and field service team to provide technical support and ensure seamless execution of projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical input during the design phase of projects, including developing detailed designs and specifications
- Collaborating with sales teams to provide technical support during the quotation phase of projects
- Analyzing complex technical issues and applying engineering principles to determine optimal solutions
- Preparing studies and making recommendations on system improvements and upgrades
