Location: Tulsa, OK
The candidate will require a minimum of 1-year MIG welding and construction experience. The ability to weld in multiple positions such as flat, horizontal, and vertical are a must. Candidate must be skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, tape measure and work instructions. Passing an entry level weld test, take a tape measure test and correctly read a blueprint are required for employment.

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.

- Understand, support and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.
- Perform a variety of duties, including Welding, working with various hand tools, fabrication and assembly work involving standardized work elements.
- Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures such as blueprints and SOP.
- Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
- Complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet production standards.
- Regularly report for work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
- These are full time positions working as a direct employee of Wedlake Enclosure Systems
- Candidates must be willing to work overtime (all shifts)
- Candidates must be willing to work Weekend shifts when mandatory
- Flexibility to work in other related departments as required
- Proficient with a grinder, cut-off wheel, MIG welding machine and various hand tools.
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to:
- Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Promptly detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
- Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold).
- Frequently and repetitively:
- Bend, sit, twist, kneel, crouch and reach to perform work.
- Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Use hand positioning to grip/grasp devices such as a wide range of power and vibrating tools or other equipment.
- Able to climb (including ladders and lifts) and drive vehicles and equipment.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Wedlake Enclosure Systems hiring process requirements which includes a drug test and a background check
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Able to convert decimals into fractions.
- Experience in layout, measuring, and fitting metal components
- Must be willing to work overtime hours and weekends with notice
- 1 year of on-the-job experience welding using GMAW or FCAW welding methods
- 1 year on the job experience in construction and/or fabrication
- Candidates must pass a pre employment test that requires:
- Correctly reading a blueprint
- Correctly reading a tape measure
- Performing a Flat plate weld
