Job Description

  • PO creation
  • Timely execution of purchase orders
  • Assist with managing the procurement of project orders
  • Assist with managing the return process due to quality/late orders
  • Liaising with various departments to ensure timely deliveries
  • Notify supplier updates to procurement manager
  • Prepare and maintain a daily status open purchase order report
  • Track and maintain timely deliveries
  • Maintain vendor relationships by responding quickly and accurately to questions
  • Participate in meetings as needed

Assist procurement manager on special projects

Specific Qualifications

 

  • Basic Requirements

    • 2 years purchasing related experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior experience in materials management and inventory control
    • Strong computer skills (MRP/Microsoft Excel)

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
    • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross functional teams
    • An innate curiosity, willingness to learn, and sense for creative problem-solving
    • A strong organizational and analytical skill set
