What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Technician position at IES Residential, Inc.?
IES Residential is currently seeking an HVAC Technician to join our winning team in the Katy, TX area.
Responsibilities :
- Commission and document new HVAC systems.
- Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems ie. air handling units, ductwork, vents, condensation drainage.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace HVAC systems and equipment to the highest possible standard.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing a top-notch customer experience and effectively communicating to homeowners and builders.
- Interact with superintendent to define commission and warranty repair schedule.
- Maintain working relationship to promote quality of work and scheduling efficiency.
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all services performed.
- Responsible for care of company vehicle by keeping maintained, clean, and stocked; responsible for maintaining accurate and proper level of inventory on vehicle.
- Clearly communicates with the superintendent by giving essential recommendations regarding customer claim issues.
- Assist in the in-field training of new technicians.
