As a Project Controller Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of our projects. You will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Analyze project financial performance and provide insights to project teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Cost Control and Monitoring:
- Monitor project costs and expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Review and approve project-related invoices and expenses.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation plans in coordination with Project Managers and leaders.
- Monitor and report on project risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Work with project teams to proactively address potential risks and challenges.
- Project Administration:
- Establish project control procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate project meetings, reviews, and reporting activities.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project financial performance and status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
- Serve as a key point of contact for project-related financial inquiries.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and develop a team of project controllers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and implement appropriate programs.
- Process Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement processes and systems to streamline project control activities.
- Establish standardized processes and procedures for project financial management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Specific Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- 10-15 years of experience in project control, financial planning and analysis, or related roles.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
