We are looking for a Residential Service Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality electrical services to residential customers, including electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be skilled in residential electrical systems, have strong problem-solving abilities, and be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
As a Residential Service Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that homes are safe, functional, and energy-efficient by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installations: Install electrical panels, outlets, lighting, ceiling fans, wiring, and other electrical components in residential properties.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including faulty wiring, circuit breakers, lighting problems, and more.
- Upgrades: Perform electrical upgrades, such as panel replacements, wiring updates, and installing energy-efficient systems.
- Customer Service: Provide clear and professional communication with homeowners regarding their electrical needs, offering solutions and explaining the scope of work.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices to ensure the highest safety and quality in all services.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, invoice customers, and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Specific Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of residential electrical experience is preferred.
- Licensing & Certification: Valid electrician’s license (or in progress), and any relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEC compliance).
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and troubleshooting.
- Tools: Must have your own basic tools (company will provide specialized equipment).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, explain electrical issues, and suggest solutions.
- Customer-Focused: Ability to provide outstanding customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a variety of environments, climb ladders, and lift moderate to heavy equipment as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with smart home wiring and systems (e.g., security systems, smart lighting, home automation).
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and green technologies (solar, LED, etc.).
- Experience with residential electrical inspections and code compliance.
