Key Responsibilities
- Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Generate and present detailed reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, supplier performance, and other key metrics using Power BI and Advanced Excel.
- Maintain, update, and enhance dashboards and visual reports to track purchasing KPIs and financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure smooth purchasing operations.
- Assist in managing the supplier database and maintain up-to-date supplier information.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics (or similar ERP system) to manage and update purchasing data.
- Ensure that all purchasing data in the ERP system is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in troubleshooting any data discrepancies within Dynamics and liaise with IT for system enhancements.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to optimize data reporting and purchasing processes.
- Implement automation where possible to improve data accuracy and reduce manual reporting tasks.
- Work closely with the Manager and other stakeholders/divisions to ensure timely procurement and reporting needs are met.
- Provide insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Specific Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in purchasing administration, data analytics, or reporting roles.
- Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization and report creation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems for data management.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA).
- Strong experience with Power BI, including report creation, dashboard management, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present data and insights in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the Purchasing/Supply Chain field.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools.
- Certification in Power BI or Advanced Excel is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL for database querying is a plus.
