Single Family Field Supervisor Main Responsibilities:
- Get take offs for roughs and trims(P.O.s and plans should be attached in scheduler).
- Check and see if job is ready for rough, A/C and Plumbing done, Roof, siding complete. If you cannot make it to the house to check, ask builder.Let builder know if the house is not ready.
- Take offs should include contacting builder for any special requests needed for job, i.e., septic or water well digs needed or connections of grinder pumps, etc…
- Run warranty calls when needed
- Stay in contact with builder superintendents daily, see what they need, build rapport/relationship
- Stay in contact with sub supervisors
- Visit jobs while subs are working (when viable)
- Go to jobs when sub completes, walk the job check if work completed
- Return to jobs to repair or take material that was missing
- Contact operations manager daily
- Check scheduler daily, (hit refresh button as it changes constantly) make changes for jobs in notes. Let the office know if jobs need to be added or moved
- Let builder know if you are not able to complete a task the day of.
- Update scheduler program about jobs when items are completed, finish out the job
- Take opportunities to find and bring in new work/builders
- Positive attitude
