Job Title: Installer Reports to: Superintendent

Reports to: Superintendent
Summary
This entry level position is responsible for cabling and termination of Cat3, Cat5e, CATV, Fiber Optic Cable and various other wiring disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for running new cabling in new or existing buildings
- Termination and working the WAO end of the DSX tester
- Setting up new telecommunications frames
- Job site clean-up
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Must be able to read construction drawings and line diagrams
- Must be reliable
- Must be willing to learn all aspects of low voltage
- Must be able to obtain access to government facilities
- Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
- Must be knowledgeable in all wiring configurations and terminations
- Technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or installation
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Potential for travel
