Responsibilities :
- Comprehensive Financial Management : Oversee billing, accounts receivable / payable, cost accounting, and revenue recognition. Manage general ledger and the full accounting cycle (month-end / year-end close, reconciliations).
- Financial Reporting : Preparation of financial statements and reports for stakeholders, including executives and ownership.
- Project Accounting : Focus on construction-specific financial tasks such as tracking project costs, analyzing expenses, and handling tax-related matters within the industry.
- Leadership and Coordination : Lead the accounting team, mentor staff, coordinate complex projects, and oversee compliance with GAAP principles and internal controls.
- External Compliance : Work with auditors and ensure the company meets all legal and tax obligations.
- Process Improvement : Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
