What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at IEWC US?
Responsibilities : Breakout The operator must read technical schematics and strip the cable to the required length. Prep The operator must strip the end of the breakout, apply numbered labels, and rubber boots. Cleaving The operator must cleave the very tip of the fiber using a specialized scope. Polishing The operator must follow a preset polishing recipe, use proper sanding pads, and ensure no dirt or spots are visible. Testing The operator is required to test all connectors and ensure they meet testing requirements.

Required Experience :
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to showcase a positive attitude.
- Willing to learn and be part of a team environment.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Familiarity with fiber optics systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
- Proficiency in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optics systems.
- Knowledge of optical fiber testing and measuring equipment.
