Description

Responsibilities:
- **Breakout**: The operator must read technical schematics and strip the cable to the required length.
- **Prep**: The operator must strip the end of the breakout, apply numbered labels, and rubber boots.
- **Cleaving**: The operator must cleave the very tip of the fiber using a specialized scope.
- **Polishing**: The operator must follow a preset polishing recipe, use proper sanding pads, and ensure no dirt or spots are visible.
- **Testing**: The operator is required to test all connectors and ensure they meet testing requirements.
Willing to train!
Required Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to showcase a positive attitude.
- Willing to learn and be part of a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Familiarity with fiber optics systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
- Proficiency in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optics systems.
- Knowledge of optical fiber testing and measuring equipment.
