Role Overview:

We are looking for a Linux Administrator to support and grow our rapidly evolving infrastructure. This is an ideal role for someone with a solid foundational knowledge of Linux systems and scripting, who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to be part of building cutting-edge FinTech products. You'll be working closely with senior engineers and DevOps specialists, learning hands-on while contributing to real projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (primarily Ubuntu) across staging and production environments.
• Write and maintain Python and shell scripts to automate administrative tasks and streamline operations.
• Monitor server health, logs, and performance, ensuring system reliability and availability.
• Support the deployment and scaling of new FinTech services and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic OS, network, and software issues.
• Help document processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Engineering, and Security.
  
  

Requirements

• Basic experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and basic automation.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of core networking concepts (DNS, SSH, TCP/IP).
• Interest in infrastructure monitoring, logging, and diagnostics (e.g., system logs, top, journalctl, etc.).
• Strong desire to grow within a technical team building real-world FinTech systems.
  
  

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $85,000 and $140,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
