Job Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting the Logistics Operations Team by leading a safe, efficient, shipping, receiving, and material delivery flow system during their respective shift. Additionally, this role will be responsible for organizing staff resources, daily inventory audits, and planning the day to day activities needed to support the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing materials to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions

Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and manufacturing environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 10:30 p.m. to 6:40 a.m. However, the position requires daily on-call duty and the ability to work during non-standard hours when the need arises.
Travel
While the role typically does not require travel, travel between sites and to any special training events may be necessary.
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transportation Management preferred

- Lead IFA Group safety initiatives with all associates within assigned area of responsibility
- Assist in planning and coordinating all activities in shipping, receiving, picking, and line side delivery to ensure production goals are achieved
- Conduct daily inventory and weekly 5S audits to ensure adherence to department work instructions and procedures
- Communicate information related to safety, quality, production, and logistics to incoming and out-going shift supervisors and coordinators
- Keep management informed of progress, developments, and pending issues within the Logistics department
- Interface with internal and external customers, to support both the department and company’s goals and objectives
- Utilize SAP to track and review order status, line replenishment requirements, and inventory levels
- Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and on time delivery performance within the warehouse and line side supermarkets
- Verify all customer orders are loaded, shipped and delivered in accordance with customer specifications
- Verify all components and finished goods racks are loaded safely and securely on all outbound trucks
- Ensure that the processing of shipping notices (ASN) within the customer defined required timeframe of product shipment are adhered to and achieved
- Review and verify purchase orders and schedule agreements against shipments received from vendors and suppliers
- Work toward continuous improvement of processes to include recommending measures to improve working conditions, increased efficiencies, quality, processes, or associated performance standards
- Supports lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kanban, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc.
- Complies to all IATF 16949, ISO 14001-2015 standards, and customer requirements
- Complies with and carries out organizational policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001-2015 & IATF16949
- Trained and knowledgeable in site safety policies and procedures
- High level of proficiency with SAP ERP system
- Demonstrates solid understanding and knowledge of Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation

- Understand, interpret and administer all IFA Group policies and procedures to the workforce and enforce all safety regulations
- Supervise the daily activities for all plant Logistics Operations associates to include training and development of employees in procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Administrative responsibility of direct reports for counseling and corrective action, evaluating performance, team schedules, and timekeeping

- Minimum 3-5 years in logistics, supply chain, transportation management, or manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role in aforementioned areas required.
- Prior experience in a tier one automotive supplier environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts
