    • Developing strategies to connect siloed systems.
    • Overseeing the implementation of APIs, middleware, or integration platforms that enable smooth communication between different systems.
    • Managing the selection and implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, or other enterprise applications.
  • Optimization: Ensuring that the software systems operate effectively together, minimizing redundancy, and maximizing operational efficiency.

    • Security protocols: Ensuring robust security measures are in place, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Monitoring and auditing: They would also implement and maintain systems to track and audit user access to ensure that security and compliance standards are met.
Cybersecurity and Data Protection:
  • Protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and customer information.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead a team of IT professionals (network engineers, systems administrators, etc.).
  • Foster collaboration between IT and other departments, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to improve operational efficiency.
