IFC’s Portfolio Department is seeking an intern as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sector development institution in the world. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC’s work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.

Duties And Accountabilities
- Preparing, conducting & recording on-site interviews; assisting with video production from storyboarding to recording, editing, and publishing, and some photography & voiceover recording.
- Organizing the studio and equipment, making sure the studio is well arranged and clean after use: all cables are organized accordingly, batteries are charged, and cameras are lowered and switched off.
- Reviewing and analyzing metrics for videos published/hosted on WBG platforms.
- Familiar with Final Cut Pro, Motion, Vyond, and Logic pro. or other editing platforms
- Experience making animated videos, creating infographics for videos, or data visualization using Vyond or other animation tools.
- Work closely with the studio manager, other Knowledge Management and Learning colleagues, and WBG’s Communications staff.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree level program
- Preferred field of study: Film, Video Productions, Graphics and Instruction Design
- Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience
- Experience with, or a willingness to work with, diverse communities and in international development
- Experience in video graphic design and with SONY cameras, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Vyond animation tools, or any other animation software is a plus
