The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC’s work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.

Duties And Accountabilities
Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience (A&R): Support operationalizing IFC Infrastructure department’s A&R strategy through
- conducting mapping of the climate A&R investment strategies in infrastructure space;
- preparing PPT presentations for client-facing teams to support business development activities; and
- ) contributing to drafting concept notes, as required
- Updating of client presentations and
- Conducting mapping of clients’ nature strategies under the guidance of senior team members.
- KM & Communications: Contribute to the development of knowledge management and communications materials (e.g., presentations, LinkedIn articles) on climate & sustainable finance topics.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree level program
- Preferred field of study: Masters in Business Administration (MBA); Finance; Economics; Engineering, Climate, Sustainable Development, Public Policy, Life Sciences
- Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive research and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality reports and impactful presentations
- Knowledge and experience in decarbonization and climate adaptation strategies or investments for infrastructure sectors and/or sustainable finance preferred
- Collaborative work style and a team player
