The Vice Presidency for Corporate Support (COSVP) integrates Budget and Business Administration, Strategy, HR, Communication, and Information & Technology functions under one umbrella to enable the execution of IFC’s management and operational needs in the best way. As part of the VPU, the Strategic Initiatives, Analytics & Knowledge Management (CSI) department exists to (1) foster innovation and continuous improvement within the VPU, (2) Collaborate with all other functions within the VPU and relevant units across IFC to assist senior leadership in conceptualizing and executing the necessary institutional changes to realize IFC's strategic goals and growth aspirations, and (3) support staff across the organization in their effort to delivery efficiently and effectively to clients through improved access to data, consistent & quality reporting, quality knowledge and learning content/experience, as well as clear and smooth transformative change.
Responsibilities
The Corporate Analytics and Reporting (CSIAR) unit serves as a center of excellence (CoE) for the corporation with the following responsibilities:
The CSIAR unit is seeking a Data Analytics Lead with a pivotal technology focused role in leading IFC’s analytics & reporting solutions and enabling further advanced analytics. This role will serve as a product owner for IFC’s data analytics solutions such as IFC Dashboard and Business Intelligence products, establishing the product vision and roadmap. This role will also lead IFC’s operational corporate analytics and reporting responsibilities in areas such as Investment Pipeline, Program, and Portfolio among others. This role entails collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, defining IFC’s data analytics product vision, liaising with CIT Data Engineering & Platforms and ITS teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics and reporting solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities
The Corporate Analytics and Reporting (CSIAR) unit serves as a center of excellence (CoE) for the corporation with the following responsibilities:
- Analytics & Reporting: Standardize, streamline, and automate analytics and reporting for IFC internal clients and the Board. Ensure consistency, simplicity, and transparency of information to facilitate data-driven decisions and insights, thereby improving operational quality, efficiency, and driving business growth.
- Scorecards: Coordinates the development of IFC’s Corporate Targets and VPU KPIs in alignment with IFC’s strategy and business outlook. Coordinates IFC’s input into the WBG Scorecard as part of the core team, in collaboration with Bank and IFC colleagues.
- Data Enablement & Governance: Serves as the secretariat for IFC’s Data Enablement Council with the responsible for driving the Data Enablement & Governance program. Coordinates IFC’s DEG core team in partnership with the IT Data & Platform Engineering (CIT) and Information and Technology Risk (CRG) teams.
- Data Literacy: Coordinates IFC’s Data literacy program and training curriculum. Administers IFC’s Data Enablement Community of Practice in partnership with IT Data & Platform Engineering (CIT).

Key Tasks And Responsibilities Include
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for IFC Dashboard and IFC’s Business Intelligence products (i.e., Power BI), aligning product goals with business objectives and stakeholder needs, continuously refining and prioritizing product backlog based on feedback and business requirements.
- Develop and implement advanced product offerings to include enabling Data Analytics with Microsoft Co-Pilot and Power BI integration, including optimizing data modeling to facilitate capabilities.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of dashboards and reports covering IFC’s operations in areas such as IFC’s Investment Pipeline, Program, and Portfolio.
- Lead IFC’s data analytics integration with WBG platforms (e.g., ED Dashboard, WBG Management Dashboard, WBG Scorecard).
- Serve as a liaison to IFC’s IT Data Engineering & Platform team on IFC’s transition to Microsoft Azure, Databricks based architecture, to facilitate reporting and analytics requirements to include data access management, and self-service analytics.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics to include Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement for IFC Dashboard, monitor report usage, and optimize communications so staff are informed and know the product capabilities.
- Establish and enforce quality principles for IFC’s reports and analytics, ensuring UX and functionality standards, and datasets and reports are properly maintained, updated, or retired as applicable.
- Establish and implement standards for documentation, data access and security for data models and reports, integrated with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Lead, mentor, and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership in adopting best practices for data modeling and analytics.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in teams in fast-paced work environments.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.
- 10 years of prior relevant work experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Data Science with preferred exposure to IFC’s operational business processes, systems, and data.
- Master’s degree in related field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading data analytics solutions in technologies such as Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard development.
- Experience in leading data analytics solutions in other BI technologies (e.g., SAP Business Objects, Tableau) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Power BI and its components (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server).
- Experience leading data analytics projects and solutions from inception to delivery and support.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of resources covering BI development, web/REACT development.
- Demonstrated experience producing and maintaining team schedules and communications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and creativity.
- Prior experience working with cross-functional teams and across departments.
- High degree of adaptability to changing requirements and a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, internationally diverse work environment; strong interpersonal skills are essential.
