This role is responsible for owning the management and commercial success of Retail Data Integration working closely with the IT / Digital team, Data & Analytics team, Operational team, Sales team and Finance team to identify interdependencies and required data exchange / collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assessing current customer data (e.g., type of data, data format/structure, etc.).
- Building on the existing business process to enhance and deliver value at rapid pace.
- Collecting / aligning technical and business requirements.
- Identifying local characteristics for customer data (e.g., data from region Y vs. region Z).
- Ensuring accurate and timely data transfer.
- Launching uniform model across regions (e.g., in Europe, North America, Latin America).
- Ensuring operationalization and continued improvement of the product through close collaboration with Digital, IT, Operations, Commercial, and Finance departments.
- Define product vision as well as create and maintain a roadmap and milestones.
- Guide and influence the direction and priorities of the technical team.
- Review completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and quality and provide feedback to the development team.
- Ensure short-cycle changes (sprints) to continuously provide benefits from the development process.
- Make informed decisions regarding product features, design, functionality, and improvements based on stakeholder feedback.
- Stay abreast of the industry and digital advances by research, attending conferences, workshops and developing a professional network.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience working as product manager or pricing manager ideally within a retail/supply chain focused organization AND digital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effective build business acumen and apply it to their work.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking skills, as well as strategic and process-oriented thinking and acting.
- Has been in a product manager role before and built digital solutions.
- Familiar with strategic pricing models and has commercial experience in the field (e.g., sales).
- Able to set own agenda and flexible to meet needs of the team to support with wider tasks.
