Job Summary
IFF N&B Memphis is looking for an Engineering Bachelors student from Sophomore to Senior school year to help drive the sites reliability program to the next level. The site is currently expanding its predictive programs of vibration, high speed motion capturing camera, motor circuit analysis, ultrasound, infrared thermography, and oil analysis. Each co-op will get hands on training on each technology and real-world field experience using these tools. Currently the sites team is made up of three Electrical Engineers and two Mechanical Engineers.

Co-Op Job Tasks
- Investigate root cause analysis of equipment failures on site: take Pictures as needed, and research equipment manufacture recommendations
- Document equipment data for all new expansions of predictive technologies Gather and input equipment specifications into MCA, UE, Vibe, Lube, and IR software to help with analysis of equipment failures
- Update plants computer maintenance management system with correct: Spare parts, equipment specifications, and optimization of current preventative maintenance strategies by equipment type
- Lead effort to program new site wide key performance indicator database to track asset health of equipment to drive plant production
- Create capital request to engineer out equipment failure modes on sites top critical equipment
- Help to drive capital project execution and design for site bad actors
- Review and document past OEE losses to equipment functional locations to help with capital justification
- Develop new Power Apps to help with inventory, training, and other needs of department to utilize barcode/QR codes in plant.
- Mentor and coach operators in training of new operator rounds, utilizing precision maintenance techniques.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program working towards bachelors degree (Sophomore through Senior classification)
- Engineering Major - Mechanical and Electrical Preferred; will consider Chemical Engineering
