Lead Information Technology Project Manager

Job Spec

• 12 months project
• Hybrid in Jersey City
• C2C Contract

We’re looking for one project manager to come in and work within an existing PMO structure, to help drive closure of discovery / planning into mid-level project plans. We would like to hear back no later than Thursday morning 11am ET as we need to move forward quickly.

Profile:

• Our best guess is that the ideal candidate should have ~7 years of experience in a project management capacity (waterfall mainly, but some agile is also fine).
• We would want them to start asap and be located within commuting distance to Hoboken, NJ. Presence in the office is required a few days a week (we’re flexible).

Expertise:

• They should be preferably familiar with the CPG space but it is not mandatory (consumer or customer/retail-facing tech would be a bonus)

Skillset - The following breakdown would be ideal:

• 75-80%: We’re looking for a resource profile who can aggressively drive project plans and keep projects in line with timelines, while pulling folks together for regular updates / meetings.
• 20-25%: ability to project some strategic planning help as we take some workstreams within project from discovery to a plan

We would like to avoid profiles-

• That are heavy on PMO or strategic consultancy as a primary skillset
• With 12 years experience
• With a heavy focus on data, or technical systems
