We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Digital Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will serve as the primary owner of our analytics and visualization platform, Domo, while also taking the lead on setting up and managing data in Google Analytics. Collaborating closely with our operations team, you will ensure seamless data tracking, reporting accuracy, and performance insights for both internal and client-facing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and digital tracking systems, with a focus on ensuring all data flows and tracking mechanisms function flawlessly.
This position is located in Overland Park, KS. Only resumes in the Kansas City Metro area will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Domo Ownership & Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain the Domo platform, ensuring accurate and efficient data visualization and reporting.
- Develop, update, and optimize dashboards for internal and client-facing use.
- Ensure data trends and insights are regularly reviewed and performing as expected.
Google Analytics Management:
- Set up, configure, and maintain Google Analytics properties (GA4) for new and existing clients.
- Implement advanced tracking setups, including goals, events, eCommerce tracking, and custom dimensions.
- Conduct regular audits of Google Analytics accounts to ensure data accuracy and tracking consistency.
- Provide support and recommendations for transitioning to or optimizing Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Client Onboarding & Tracking Implementation:
- Set up new client accounts in Domo and integrate relevant data sources.
- Collaborate with the operations team to implement and verify tracking mechanisms, including Google Tag Manager, pixels, tags, and events.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance to confirm accurate data flow and tracking consistency across platforms.
Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Regularly monitor data flows, identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in tracking and reporting.
- Conduct audits of digital campaigns, tracking systems, and reporting setups to ensure long-term accuracy and integrity.
Insights & Recommendations:
- Analyze data across platforms like Domo and Google Analytics to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas of improvement for campaigns or client initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams based on data findings.
Collaboration & Training:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, account management, and development, to align tracking and analytics efforts.
- Train team members and clients on understanding and utilizing Domo dashboards and Google Analytics reports effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3 years in digital analytics, data visualization, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in managing and configuring Domo (certifications preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) setup, management, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tracking tools and platforms (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and other pixel technologies).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Domo required; others like Tableau or Power BI are a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4 experience required) and web analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of tracking pixels, tags, APIs, and integrations for data management.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
