GENERAL SUMMARY:
Customer Service Rep I is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients by responding to requests in an efficient, accurate and effective manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receive calls while utilizing Macola and Wisys to review product inventory for the purposes of accurately processing and confirming customer orders.
- Use positive and persuasive language while maintaining self-control when communicating order updates to customers.
- Communicate product information and order updates to customers.
- Validate & process customer return requests.
- Provide support to Sales Organization to more effectively fulfill customer needs.
- Document, research, and follow up on customer complaints in order to facilitate an effective resolution in a timely fashion.
- Maintain accurate customer files in Synergy and Wisys.
- Take initiative to contribute to the positive growth of the department and organization while being a positive and motivating team player.
- Various office administration duties such as processing faxes, preparation of reports, etc.
- Any duties and responsibility assigned for the department
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have moderate level computer skills in Word and Excel, with the ability to use databases and ERP systems
- Must be a team player
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred
- 1-3 years call center experience required with a focus on Customer Account Management in the manufacturing industry.
