What Will I Do In This Role?
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Maintaining clean and orderly work environment
- Requesting supplies as needed to maintain building
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities as necessary
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance and repair (unclogging of drains, replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, installing new lines as necessary) to provide efficient plumbing capabilities.
- Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry including surface preparation, to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion.
- Configures and installs modular offices spaces to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
- Inspect buildings and other structures to detect malfunctions and make recommendations for corrective action according to the site operations manual.
- Diagnose and correct problems with plant utility systems as necessary
- HVAC filter changes, minor repair/maintenance on units
- Minor repair/maintenance on facility air compressors
- Prioritize, diagnose and correct problems as identified
- Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate powered industrial equipment as necessary
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management
- HVAC certification or degree
- EPA certification
- Industrial mechanical experience with machinery a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and cooperation with coworkers and supervisors
- Receptiveness to overtime required in department
- Receptiveness to cross training and rotational assignments
- Willingness to attend training to increase job knowledge, during off-shift times and at off-site locations
- Proven paperwork accuracy
- Advancement to higher level Maintenance Technician positions awarded based skill, ability and knowledge demonstrated on department matrix
